Vivum 2018

It was raining prizes for the students of NPS HSR at Vivum - the two-day inter-school fest organized by TISB on the 23rd and 24th of August. Our students displayed their plethora of talents in a myriad of events ranging from Parliamentary Debate to Gully Cricket and bagged the 1st prize in events like the Film Making Competition, Street Play, Parliamentary Debate, Vivum X Chella, Tennis, Basketball – Boys Under 18 Category, Gully Cricket, the Second Place in Conscious Couture, Girls’ Badminton and the 3rd Position in Codefest,Dash to the Press. Innowaves

Students of NPS HSR continued to win accolades in the inter-school fests circuit and competitions held across the city during the month of August 2018.

In the INNOWAVES ’18 hosted by NPS Indiranagar, on 10 August 2018, Vishal Venkatesh of 12 B and Aditya Balakrishnan of 11 C won the first prize in the Corporate Event REGNUM.

Co-MUN

In the Co-MUN (Bishop Cotton’s MUN) event organized by Bishop Cotton School from 30 July 2018 - 1 August 2018, team of delegates from NPSHSR were appreciated for their confident presentations. Aryan Kurup of Grade 12 C was declared the Commendable Delegate and Visveshwar Reddy of 11C received a Special Mention in the event.

MUN

It was raining awards for the students of NPS HSR in the Inter-school events arena. In the MUN organized by NPS KRM on 3 August 2018 and 4 August 2018, Abhijna Choodi was declared the Best delegate, Shreyas Gopishetty and Chaitanya got the Honourable Delegates award and Dhruv Bhatia received the Commendable Delegate certificate. It was a proud moment for us when we won the Best Delegation.

Code Wars

CodeWars is a computer programming competition for high school students. Code Wars 2018 was hosted by Hewlett-Packard (HP) in the Mahadevpura campus, Bengaluru on 14th July 2018.

Two teams from NPS HSR participated in the event. Out of around 100 teams across Bengaluru, one of the team consisting of Dev Moxaj Desai (12A), Bhargav Kishor Kulkarni (12B) and Eehit Ray (12B) secured second position. The prize consist of a runner’s up trophy for each student, school trophy and certificate. Each student also got a Robotic Kit.

NPS INR Parliamentary Debate

In the NPS INR Parliamentary Debate held on 27 July and 28 July 2018, Aditya Balakrishnan of Grade 11 was declared the First Best Speaker and Abhijna Choodi of Grade 11 bagged the fifth Best Speaker Award.

Debattle

Powerful and convincing are the rhetoricians of NPS HSR. They are compelling in their arguments and can disarm their opponent with their eloquence.

In the Debattle conducted by NPS Yeshwantpur on 26 July 2018 Abhijna Choodi of Grade 11 bagged the Second Best Speaker Award.

IRIS 2018

Success empowers the mind, heart and soul with aspirations for greater achievements.

On 22 July 2018, students of NPS HSR participated in IRIS 2018, an Annual Science and Literary Fest hosted by NPS Koramangala. Our team of students evinced scintillating performances at the various events and bagged several laurels for the school at the Fest.
