Onam Celebrations, 2020-21

The Montessori children of GMC, HSR celebrated Onam on 28 August 2020. Children and teachers, all dressed in ethnic wear added colour to our virtual celebration. The interesting story of Mahabali related to the festival of Onam was shared with the children. A power point presentation was shown to them with pictures of the traditional Onam sadhya, the customary pookalam and the grand boat race which happens in Kerala. Children were excited to watch the Onam festivities and looked forward to trying their own pookalam at home.
