Library Week, July 2018

Library Week was celebrated at NPS-HSR from 9 July 2018 to 13 July 2018 with a plethora of activities. Tell a Tale saw the students of Grade 11 turn storytellers for Grade 1. Grade 2 participated in a Build a story activity while vocabulary skills of Grade 3 were tested through a Spell Bee Competition. Grade 5 enjoyed marketing their books through a Book Circle, Grade 6 showcased their creativity through a Design your Class Library Contest and the students of Grade 8 were treated to a variety of genres in the library through a Book Buffet. Students and faculty also participated in the ever-popular Drop Everything and Read campaign. A visit to the British Library was arranged for the students of Grade 10. Illustrator Krishna Shenoi and author Roopa Pai enthralled the students with their interactive sessions and brought in a fitting end to the Library Week.
