The Montessori children of GMC, HSR celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi on the 21 August 2020. The class began with a heartwarming prayer to Ganesha. The little ones dressed in colourful traditional clothes were a sight to watch. They were thrilled to listen to the story of how Ganesha got his elephant head and hence learnt the significance of the festival. A power point presentation showing the rituals performed and delicacies made was shared. Teachers also spoke about the pollution caused by the harmful chemicals used in idols and encouraged them to adapt alternate ecofriendly ways to make idols. We all chanted ‘Ganapathi Bappa Moraya’ as we parted for the day.
