On 2 November 2023, GMC celebrated Kannada Rajyotsava with great joy and enthusiasm. Students and teachers adorned themselves in the colours of the Karnataka flag to mark the occasion. The day began with memorable Kannada songs, which set the mood for the day’s celebrations. In the week leading up to the event, teachers had introduced the language to the students by engaging in simple conversations with them in Kannada. In addition, seniors will be taught Kannada regularly during the year. Using a PowerPoint presentation, teachers enlightened the children about Rajyotsava Day and its unique significance. It was a day dedicated to helping the students gain an understanding of and appreciation for the state they live in and its associated history.
