“The greatness of a culture can be found in its festivals.”

We celebrated Dussehra at GMC on 11 October ‘23 with great enthusiasm. Children were engaged in festive activities like drawing, colouring and collage-making throughout the month. They learned about the story behind the festival- the victory of good over evil, and how it is celebrated in various parts of our country. They enjoyed impromptu dandiya and garba dances, and the school was beautifully decorated with traditional Golu dolls. Teachers and students, dressed in vibrant hues, added to the festive atmosphere. Such celebrations help children connect with our culture and appreciate our country's diversity. Happy Dussehra wishes from the Montessori Family!
