“Yoga is like music, the rhythm of the body, the melody of the mind and harmony of the soul that creates the symphony of life.”

The International Yoga Day celebration at GMC HSR on 21 June 2023 highlighted the physical and spiritual benefits of yoga. The Montessori children walked into the school to the reverberating chants of ‘Om.’ The Montessori teachers presented the story regarding the practice of asanas in ancient India, and the show enumerated the various physical and mental benefits of yoga. The children enjoyed performing stretching and breathing exercises with their peers and teachers.
