The decisions that parents and students make at the time of graduating from High School has a tremendous impact on their lives. NPS HSR does play a pivotal role in preparing, guiding and assisting students in making that transition successfully towards a future career path by organizing the annual career fair ‘Nextstep’. During this event, the students and their parents get ample opportunities to interact with the representatives of some of the best colleges in the country and get an overview of the career options and courses available.

After the roaring success of the first edition of the career fair ‘Nextstep, the second edition of was launched with great fanfare online in the form of a webinar through MS teams on 29 August, 2020. This year, the fair was on an online platform in view of the pandemic. The first ever virtual career fair had Ms. Josheta Hari, Head of Planning and Development, NPS group of school as a keen observer.

The first of the series had over 10 colleges, pan India, partaking in the virtual fair. The representatives, standing in for their universities such as Krea, Azim Premji, Flame, Jindal Global, Manipal Global, S P Jain, Atria, Plaksha, Mahindra and Amritha, were allotted time slots and they did a quick elevator pitch of their colleges, the courses, the streams of study, campus life, the initiatives and also their network with industries and universities for higher studies. The parents and students were taken on a virtual tour of the colleges with a wealth of information made available and their enthusiastic participation spoke volumes of its success.
