‘Lighting a diya symbolizes the triumph of light over darkness and knowledge over ignorance’

The Montessori children celebrated the festival of lights — Diwali — with hearts full of joy and excitement on October 17th. Dressed in bright, traditional outfits, they filled the school with colour, cheer, and festive sparkle.

The celebration began with delightful dance performances and melodious Diwali songs that brought smiles all around. To help our little ones understand the true spirit of the festival, engaging stories of Diwali were shared in a way that made them come alive for young minds.

The fun continued as the children rolled up their sleeves for a diya-painting activity, adding their own creative touch to each diya. They proudly took home their beautifully decorated diyas — glowing reminders of a celebration filled with laughter, learning, and light.
