As part of the Subject Enrichment Activity, students of Grades 6 to 8 participated in a Multidisciplinary Project integrating Languages, Science, Mathematics, and Social Science. The initiative fostered creativity, collaboration, and the practical application of classroom learning.
Grade 6 created PowerPoint presentations on innovative ways to reuse and recycle waste, combining environmental awareness with data interpretation and persuasive communication.
Grade 7 compiled a magazine on the theme of food, exploring nutritional, cultural, and economic dimensions through research and artistic expression.
Grade 8 designed an imaginative amusement park, The Joyland, applying concepts of measurement, geometry, force, and urban planning, and presented their models to a teacher panel.
The project highlighted how learning becomes purposeful when ideas from diverse disciplines converge.
As part of CBSE’s nationwide initiative to promote awareness about the health impact of sugar, NPS HSR conducted a series of engaging activities across grades. Subject teachers integrated the theme into their lessons through essay writing, storytelling, statistical analysis, and discussions on lifestyle diseases. Students were also encouraged to read food labels before consumption and reflect on their dietary choices. These cross-disciplinary activities aimed to cultivate mindful eating habits and a deeper understanding of the long-term effects of excessive sugar intake, aligning with the school’s commitment to holistic health education.
In observance of the World Environment Day, NPS HSR launched the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam 2.0” tree plantation campaign, as part of the CBSE initiative promoting environmental stewardship and sustainable living. Conducted from 5th June to 30th July 2025, the drive saw enthusiastic participation from students under the guidance of the Green Brigade Club.
Students planted saplings with their mothers at home or in public spaces, symbolising their bond with Mother Earth. They also creatively expressed this connection through poems.
The initiative fostered environmental responsibility and celebrated the nurturing spirit of motherhood.
