NPS HSR celebrated Independence Day with patriotic fervour on 15 August 2025. The event began with the ceremonial flag hoisting, followed by the Principal’s address, which highlighted the bravery of Kargil War hero Captain Manoj Pandey. The celebrations also honoured lesser-known freedom fighters such as Birsa Munda and Begum Hazrat Mahal. Students brought history to life by roleplaying as literary icons Mahasweta Devi and Subhadra Kumari Chauhan, vividly portraying the sacrifices of our freedom fighters. The program concluded with energetic dance performances and a spirited band presentation, reflecting the school’s pride and commitment to the nation.
