On 14 July 2023, National Public School, HSR, organised the biennial interschool commerce and humanities fest, Inceptra. The event, which witnessed participation from 10 schools across Bangalore and Mysore, commenced with an invocation song and dance soliciting the grace of God. The keynote address by Mr. Vijay Arisetty, CEO and Co-founder of MyGate, emphasised the importance of innovation, networking, and cultivating a growth mindset in a rapidly evolving world. In her welcome address, the principal, Ms. Shefali Tyagi, discussed how the fest provided the students with a platform for applying the theoretical knowledge acquired in class to real-world scenarios. The fest, which featured eleven breath-taking events, including marketing, dance, music, fashion, logic, psychology, law, and history, compelled the students to think outside the box and be at their creative best. Each of these events witnessed fierce competition and a nail-biting finish. At the end of a hard-fought contest, Sri Kumaran Children’s Home walked away with the overall trophy.
