Rabindranath Tagore said that freedom is the soul of a nation. On 15 August '23, NPS HSR honoured this spirit of freedom and independence with a spectacular display of cultural performances by the Visual and Performing Art Club members of the school. The day’s festivities commenced with the hoisting of the national flag by the school principal, Ms. Shefali Tyagi. As the tricolor flag unfurled in full glory, the heart of every individual on the ground swelled with pride and happiness.

The show, comprising music, dance, art, drama, and a quiz, celebrated the significant milestones and achievements of the country and its greatest leaders. The impassioned declamation speeches took the audience on a soulful journey through the past. Meanwhile, the quiz club members enlivened the atmosphere with their insightful, fun, and engaging questions. The dance drama illustrated the theme of unity in diversity.
