World Environment Day - June 2023

National Public School, HSR, celebrated the 50th World Environment Day from 12 June through 16 June 2023. The theme for Environment Week 2023 was "Go Green". The sessions emphasised the urgent need to revive and restore ecosystems around the world. . Students were engaged in activities that helped them engage in a soul searching exercise on the importance of environmental conservation and sustainable practices. The sessions also discussed the consequences of man’s exploitative nature and addressed pressing concerns such as climate change, deforestation, and pollution. Students were invited to offer their suggestions on ‘one way to go green’ at the end of the week.
