Colours Of India- A Musical Show

The students of Grade 2D presented their class assembly on “Colours of India”.

The children confidently presented unity in diversity through a musical show where 2 aliens stationed their spaceship above India to witness the diverse culture of India and to add some colours to their journey. They travelled Kashmir-The heaven on Earth, Panjim-A beautiful coastal place, Allepey-God’s own country. They saw different languages are spoken to these different parts of India. They also travelled to Western part during Garba festival and enjoyed the garba dance. Then, they went to Southern part and saw a beautiful dance performance called Bharat Natyam in a temple. They travelled to Eastern part during Sankranti and Western part during Baishakhi and thoroughly enjoyed Bengali folk dance and Bhangra dance. The aliens were amazed by the unity this country display despite of vast diversity in culture and languages.

Overall, The show was spectacular and had a joyful performance by the students.
