Grade 12 students of NPS HSR embarked on a three day educational trip to Mahabalipuram and Pondicherry from June 25 to 27. The itinerary featured visits to the Dakshina Chitra Heritage Museum, where students explored South Indian traditions, art, and architecture; the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Shore Temple to learn about the rich history of Mahabalipuram; the experimental township of Auroville, including the Matrimandir viewpoint; and Pondicherry's French Quarter, where they experienced the city's distinctive architecture and colonial heritage. Students also enjoyed a hands-on flute-making workshop and lunch at the solar-powered Auroville Kitchen. The trip provided a refreshing break from the demands of school and coaching, and the students returned rejuvenated with enriching experiences and lasting memories.
