Grade 8 students embarked on an educational trip to Mysore on December 6. Their first stop was a toy factory, where they observed the intricate process of crafting wooden toys. Next, they visited the ‘Payana Vintage and Classic Car Museum’ on the Mysore Express Highway. Here, they explored an impressive collection of over 70 vintage cars, each accompanied by details about its name, year of manufacture, and engine specifications, offering insights into the evolution of automotive design.
The trip's final destination was The Gumbaz at Ganjam, Sringapatam nestled within beautifully landscaped gardens. The Gumbaz, built by Tipu Sultan to honour his parents, houses the resting places of Tipu Sultan, his father Hyder Ali, and his mother Fakhr-Un-Nisa. The educational journey provided students with valuable knowledge and unforgettable experiences.
