On their history school field trip on 19 July 2024, the students of grade 11 and 12, Humanities stream explored temple architecture, beginning with the Gavigangadhareshwara Temple, a cave temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, built by Kempegowda I, the founder of Bengaluru. They marvelled at the ancient structure's unique features and learned about its historical significance. Next, they visited the Bull Temple, which has a massive monolithic statue of Nandi, measuring 4.5 meters in height and 6.5 meters in length, followed by the Doddaganesha Temple with its impressive width and height. The trip concluded with an engaging hands-on experience at a live assembly session at Vidhan Soudha, where they learned about the workings of the legislative process.
