The academic calendar of NPS HSR for the year 2020- 21 has seen many firsts and adding yet another event to its long list of firsts, the school held its virtual Graduation Ceremony on 21 March 2021. The event began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp to the accompaniment of a devotional song soliciting the grace of the Lord Almighty. In her convocation address, Dr. Bindu Hari, Vice Chairperson of NPS Group of Schools, NAFL and TISB, urged the class of 2021 to be the torch bearers, innovators, leaders and pioneers of tomorrow and hold dear all the values they learnt in school as they journey through their life. The guest of honour Mr. Sridhar Ranganathan, CEO- Helyxon Healthcare Solution, in his address placed on record the contributions of the management, teachers, parents and the students in keeping the learning going during the pandemic. Drawing an analogy from the world of cricket, he reiterated that no matter what the challenges, adversities or playing conditions are the important thing is ‘who is playing’. The school Chairman, Dr. K.P. Gopalakrishna, reminded the students about the plethora of opportunities that globalization has made available to youngsters and called upon them to capitalize on all those opportunities. The Principal, Ms. Shefali Tyagi, in her declaration address lauded the students for their tenacity, resilience, creativity, courage, talent and compassion. She further described the class of 2021 as the chosen batch to begin the change the world wanted to see. The graduating class of NPS HSR bid an emotional adieu to their alma mater even as they waited in anticipation for the next phase of their exciting journey of life.
