The stimulating conversation as part of the Parent Educator Programme, with Mr. Bohra, Chief of Internal Audit at Wipro, on the 19 November, 2021 virtually on MS Teams platform. The students of grades 10-12 learnt the rudiments of financial literacy from the maestro, who holds dual degree of Chartered Accountancy and Cost and Works Accountancy and has rich experience in the corporate world. The engrossing dialogue replete with tips to start saving and investment habits early with various options laid bare by the speaker along with the alpha and beta of investments had the students get the whiff of the financial flavour. It was a clarion call to the generation Z to be money wise and not miss the bus when it comes to safe and rewarding build up on their portfolio. His advice to not get carried away by ball park numbers and fads of bitcoin was well received by the audience. The Q&A session after the talk enabled the inspired students to have more clarity on certain key elements of financial literacy. The comprehensive and wholesome development of the children is the key upshot of such meaningful interactions and we look forward to more such interactions in future.
