The virtual celebrations of the 74th Independence day of India was observed with great patriotic fervour by the students and staff of NPS HSR. A virtual flag hoisting followed by a speech by the school Principal, Ms. Shefali Tyagi, sharing heroic stories of Indian bravehearts, set a befitting start for the day. This was followed by a narrative on the Indian Independence by the department of Social Science. Students in Primary school were given a gist of the valiant deeds and struggle by the freedom fighters. A plethora of student activities brought alive the pluralistic India, its achievements and glory. The celebrations culminated with a musical tribute put forth by the students of the senior school.
