A special virtual assembly was held on 21 June ’21 to mark the occasion of 7th International Yoga Day. The show shed light on the history, origin and development of yoga and further reiterated the various physical and mental health benefits of practising it. The assembly urged the students to practice meditation every day, stressing the importance of meditation in achieving a mentally clear and emotionally stable state of mind. The show wound up with a live session of meditation and Surya namaskara, where pupils and their parents performed the exercises following the instructions of student yoga practitioners.
