“Grandparents are voices of the past and the door to the future. They provide us wisdom from a lifetime of experience.”

Our initiative for the year, “Family Ties: Always There to Always Care,” aimed to deepen students’ appreciation for the special connections within families—highlighting the love, care, and support shared between parents, siblings, and grandparents. Throughout the year, students engaged in various bonding activities, including ‘Zumba’ and ‘Josh 2024-25,’ fostering fun and unity within families.

The activities saw its culmination on 1 February 2025 on Grandparents’ Day, an event that celebrated the wisdom and love of grandparents. The day featured scintillating student performances—from musical numbers to heartfelt speeches—that expressed profound admiration and love for the elder members of our community. The audience was thoroughly captivated by the students’ talents.

A highlight of the celebration was the interactive sessions where grandparents enthusiastically participated in games like Head, Shoulder, Nose, and Cup, Save the Balloon, and Aim the Ball, culminating in the crowning of Mr. and Mrs. Grandparent 2025. Winners were honoured with prizes and mementos.

The 2024-25 Grandparents’ Day was a memorable and touching experience, providing students a meaningful platform to express gratitude and create cherished memories with their grandparents. The event embodied the spirit of our initiative, reinforcing the invaluable bonds of family that will be treasured for years to come.
