A Montessori celebration is always a special occasion, but a birthday tribute to the woman who revolutionized education is especially meaningful. To mark Dr. Maria Montessori's 154th birthday, all the children of Global Montessori centre came together to celebrate her legacy and honour her contributions to child development.

Keeping in mind the initiative for this year ‘Connect with nature’, the centrepiece of our celebration was a beautiful art created by the children. Using natural elements like leaves, flowers, twigs and pista shells, they crafted a vibrant and meaningful message that reflected the Montessori philosophy of connecting children with nature. The teachers set the tone for the event by singing a song celebrating Dr.Montessori’s life. But the highlight of the celebration was a group singing performance by the children. All children came together to sing songs that celebrated nature. Our Principal, Ms. Shefali Tyagi, shared a few inspiring words with the children, bringing the celebration to a heartfelt conclusion. We are filled with gratitude for the opportunity to honour Dr. Maria Montessori’s enduring legacy.
