On 25th December, people across the globe come together to celebrate the joyous occasion of Christmas. The festival was celebrated at GMC on 22 December 2023. A beautiful Christmas tree adorned the school campus a week before to the festival. Children arrived at school dressed according to their assigned dress code for the occasion. They were treated to an engaging presentation on the significance of the festival. On the day of the celebration, the teachers, accompanied by an in-house Santa Claus, delighted the children by visiting each classroom and singing Christmas carols. The highlight for the children was participating in the Secret Santa game with their friends.

As Christmas approaches with its bright lights, wrapped gifts, and Santa hats, it can be easy to forget the holiday’s true essence – The Joy of giving. To help children understand this, ‘A Joy of Giving’ week was organised at school. Throughout this week, various activities were planned for the children and the school's support staff. The children had a wonderful time bonding with their 'Akkas', learning songs, drawing, rangoli, stitching from them, and sharing some delectable snacks together. The activity helped foster a deeper appreciation for the support staff among the children.
