Sharkitecture – A Shark Tank show

The assembly by the students of Grade 8B showcased a fusion of the past and the present. It begins with the time travel of the Indian kings of the past, like Ashoka, Narasimhavarman, Lalitaditya and Kumaragupta, to the platform of Sharkitecture. Here, the kings must impress upon the judging panel of sharks the glory of their architectural contributions to the melting pot of Indian culture. Their narratives throw light on the motive, cause and impact of great historical architectures like the Nalanda University, Ashoka Sthambha, Pancharathas and the Martand Temple from the point of view of the kings of lore.

This assembly, presented on the 14th of February 2023, is a unique demystification of the beauty and meaning of Indian architecture to expose the audience to the many treasures India proudly hosts.
