Assembly Grade 11B, 2022

The highest education does not merely give us information but helps us live in harmony with all existence.

The assembly presented by grade 11B showcased different education systems throughout India’s history and how they are incorporated into our present education system. It portrayed the topic through a skit based on time travel that began in a futuristic classroom, where learning is isolated yet modernized. It then traversed through the various education systems, from gurukuls during the Vedic time to the Anglo-Indian system of schooling during British rule in India. The assembly also depicted scenes from the prestigious universities of Nalanda and Takshashila, the symbols of the Indian philosophy of education. Lastly, the skit portrayed the joys of the modern classroom, where fun and creativity abound, and students learn in collaboration.
