The Dean, Dr Santhamma Gopalkrishna’s address to the staff of NPS HSR and NPS KRM on 3 December 2022 focussed on the best practices to be adopted for an efficient teaching-learning experience. The talk included three takeaways for the teachers: warm greetings at the beginning of the session to set the tone and mood for the class, insistence on effective note-making by the students for better learning and retention and well-planned classes with attention to downtime and primetime for each 40-minute session.
